
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct sustainability assessments and develop sustainability strategies and programs for clients across a variety of sectors, covering economic, environmental, social, and governance factors
Provide advice on sustainability regulations and reporting requirements
Assist clients with sustainability reporting and disclosure, including preparing sustainability reports, responding to sustainability surveys, and preparing clients for sustainability report assurance
Conduct client interviews, meetings and workshops in support of the above
Develop and deliver sustainability training programs for clients
Develop project proposals and marketing materials
Stay up-to-date with sustainability debates, trends, regulations, standards, and leading practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, internal auditing, civil/chemical/industrial engineering, or an environmental science field
Work experience:
Analyst: At least one year of work experience
Specialist: At least three years of work experience, including one year in sustainability management
Certification in sustainability reporting (e.g. IFRS FSA Credential, GRI Sustainability Professional, AA1000 Sustainability Practitioner Certificate) or relevant PRC license (e.g. Environmental Planning) a distinct advantage
Familiar with or highly interested in sustainable development and link between sustainability and business value
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong data wrangling and analysis skills; comfortable using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, MS Excel)
Creative with good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
Adept in engaging and often collaborating with many different internal and external stakeholders.
